Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the picturesque mountains with a stunning view of Grand Saint Bernard, Bellevue offers a serene retreat for travelers seeking a quiet escape. The family-owned hotel exudes a quaint charm, with clean, spacious rooms and a lovely terrace perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. While the furnishings may show signs of age, the warm hospitality of the owners compensates for any minor inconveniences. The breakfast spread is generous, featuring a delightful selection of sausages, cheese, and fresh fruits, providing a delightful start to the day. The on-site restaurant offers convenience, although venturing out to explore local dining options is recommended. As an art historian with an eye for detail, the subtle touches of Italian charm throughout the hotel did not go unnoticed. The lack of modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV may deter some, but for those prioritizing tranquility and authenticity, Bellevue offers a genuine Italian experience at a reasonable cost.
